Episode 27: Work from the Inside Out w/ Tammy Gooler Loeb

In today’s episode, Sara interviews Tammy Gooler Loeb, the author of “Work from the Inside Out: Break Through Nine Common Obstacles and Design a Career That Fulfills You.”

As a career and executive coach, author, and speaker, Tammy inspires people to build careers that are fulfilling and meaningful. For over two decades, Tammy has shared her expertise with audiences and clients, focusing on career transitions, networking, leadership strategies, and team development.

The two discuss what it means to Work from the Inside Out.

“Many of us spend a significant amount of time at work, more than we do with our families, sleeping, and other important parts of life. Our prime working years encompass a substantial portion, about 40-50 percent of our lifetime - perhaps even more. Don’t you think our career satisfaction ought to be higher on our priority list?” - Tammy Gooler Loeb

In this conversation, Tammy gives us a starting point to gather information to understand what a more meaningful career looks like for you. She shares tangible takeaways on how to overcome fear and address the scarcity mindset that gets in our way.  Additionally, she reminds us that careers are no longer linear and that we have the resources available to design a fulfilling career.

Tammy shares specific networking techniques and how they can influence future career pivots. She’ll give us unique insights on how to build, connect and maintain our personal and professional networks and reminds us that the network is much larger than we think. She encourages us to be open and curious and to be interested, not interesting.

Follow your intuition. Listen and trust your inner dialog and make small (or large) pivots to continue to build a meaningful career and Work From The Inside Out.
